  2. Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs): Continuous glucose monitors are more advanced devices that provide real-time blood glucose readings throughout the day and night. A small sensor is inserted under the skin, usually on the abdomen or arm, and it continuously measures glucose levels in the interstitial fluid. The data is transmitted to a receiver or a smartphone app, allowing users to monitor their glucose levels continuously without frequent finger pricks.
  3. Flash Glucose Monitors: Flash glucose monitors are similar to CGMs but with a slight difference. They also use a sensor inserted under the skin, but instead of continuous data transmission, users must scan the sensor with a reader or smartphone to get a glucose reading.     • Connect the sensor to the transmitter if required.
    • Sync the transmitter with a receiver or smartphone app.
    • Monitor your glucose levels continuously and check the data regularly.
  3. Flash Glucose Monitors
    • Insert the sensor under your skin as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
    • Use the reader or smartphone app to scan the sensor for glucose readings.
    • Scan the sensor at regular intervals to get an updated glucose reading.

Glucose monitors are indispensable tools for managing diabetes effectively.
